Comet Tradecom · West Bengal · est. 2013

The Story

It started with a recipe nobody else was willing to honour.

In 2013, a small team in West Bengal set out with a single conviction: ghee should taste like the one your grandmother used to make. No vegetable oils. No emulsifiers. Just slow-clarified cow's milk butter, the way it has been done for centuries.

A decade later, Gold Touch ships across India in four sizes, but the recipe hasn't moved a degree. If you are weighing it up against what else is on the shelf, we wrote up gawa ghee vs regular ghee.

Values

What we won't compromise on.

Purity

Single-origin cow's milk, traced to one dairy per batch. No oils, no additives, no shortcuts.

Process

Slow heat over yield. Our clarification cycle takes longer — that's how the granular gawa texture happens.

People

Made and paid in West Bengal. Our team and suppliers all live within an hour of the studio.
