Who we are
This website is operated by Comet Tradecom, the manufacturer of Gold Touch Gawa Ghee and the Blendz range, based in Howrah, West Bengal, India. In this policy “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Comet Tradecom.
What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us. When you submit the contact form or a Blendz product enquiry, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), the product you enquired about, and your message. We do not ask for and do not want payment details — this website does not process payments. Purchases happen on third-party marketplaces under their own terms.
How we use it
Your details are used for one purpose: to reply to your enquiry and, where relevant, to discuss distribution, retail or trade pricing. We do not sell your data, we do not rent it, and we do not add you to a marketing list without your say-so.
Where it is stored
Enquiries are stored in this website’s database on our hosting provider’s servers and are also emailed to info@comettrade.com. Access is limited to the people at Comet Tradecom who handle enquiries.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records for as long as needed to deal with your query and to maintain a reasonable business record, typically no longer than three years. You may ask us to delete your record sooner.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets the cookies WordPress requires to function. We do not currently run advertising or analytics trackers. If we add analytics (such as Google Analytics 4) or advertising pixels (such as Meta Pixel) in future, this page will be updated before they go live, and cookie-consent controls will be provided where the law requires them.
Third-party links
Our “Buy Now” and “Where to Buy” links take you to third-party marketplaces including Amazon, Flipkart, BigBasket, Blinkit, Swiggy Instamart and Spencer’s. Once you leave this website, you are covered by that platform’s privacy policy and terms, not ours. We do not receive your payment or account information from them.
The WhatsApp button opens a conversation with our business number. Messages you send there are handled by WhatsApp under its own privacy policy, and by us for the purpose of answering you.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to info@comettrade.com and we will respond within a reasonable period.
Governing law
This policy is governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the rules made under it, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 as it comes into force.
